She was elected a member of the Parliament in the 1st Constituency of Athens for the first time in 2000. She was reelected in 2004, 2007 and 2009.
She is a member of the following Parliament Committees: on Institutions and Transparency, on Defense and Foreign Affairs. She is also a member of the Council of Europe and of the Western European Union.

Activités politiques/sociales

She is a graduate of Law School, University of Athens. She has worked as a journalist in newspapers, magazines, radio stations and television channels for the last 35 years. In 1997 she set up the magazine “NEMECIS”. She has been elected a member of the leading bodies of many journalists’ unions. She has been awarded, by many associations and organizations, about her social and antiracist action. She is a member of EEDYE. Books written by her: “Thoughts”, “Function of Oaths”, “Rwanda”.
